It has been a wonderful week!!  Between ice skating dates, shopping city markets, dining with my Dad while he was in town, and a wonderful Valentine's Day evening out with my {His}, I couldn't have asked for more.  Here's to a fantastic weekend and just {five} of our favorite things from this past week...

Hers - Go Red

In honor of Valentine's Day, I've been going red all week.  Be it a pop of red at the lip or all-over red with my very favorite vintage cape, I've been finding ways to work bright and cheery cherry reds into my wardrobe.  I actually wore the red look below to last Sunday's Dose Market {featured in yesterday's post}.  I went red to Dose and it couldn't have been a more perfect way to kick-off this Valentine week.

We joined a dear friend on Sunday afternoon for a stroll {and bit of snacking and shopping} around Dose Market.  It was our first time attending and were instantly hooked!!  Set in a beautiful location at the River East Art Center and jam-packed with high-quality food, fashion, furniture, and other great findings, we think this market is one to not be missed.  We're already making plans to Dose another Sunday away at next month's gathering.  Be sure to check out more info {here} and a little more below...

Happy Valentine's Day!!  We hope you're having a sweet start to this lovely day and have even sweeter plans for this evening.  Be it with your honey or dear family or friends, everyone deserves a little Valentine's Day delight.  My mister and I are looking forward to a romantic dinner date at one of our favorite local Italian spots.  Nothing fancy, but all very fun.  There's just nothing better than an evening with my handsome Valentine.

It would be an absolute dream to attend New York Fashion Week at some point soon, but even though I couldn't be there in person for this season's set of shows, there were many means for following along online.  Thanks to the wonderful world of social media, of course!!  I've been doing my best to keep up with the action via the interwebs, blogs, Twitter, and Instagram.  One channel, in particular, that's been pure bliss to follow is Kanon Organic Vodka's Fashion Week Instagram Feed.  Check it out {here}!!  It's loaded with the latest captures from some of fashion's most notable icons.  What could make following along from home more fun?!

{Five} of Our Favorite Things

Happy end to the work week, friends!!  What are your plans for the fast approaching weekend?!  The {His} and I are excited to have a few fun things to look forward to ~ a double ice skating date at the outdoor rink near Wrigley Field, dining after at Uncommon Ground, a Saturday free for our choosing, and then rounding it all out on Sunday with a shop around Dose Market with a dear friend.  We're looking forward to it all.  Here's to a fabulous weekend and just {five} of the little things we enjoyed this past week...

Hers - Black/White/Army Green

I've been trying to wear pants more frequently this season.  In the winter, I tend to be a skirts and tights type girl, so I'm doing my best to switch it up a bit and embrace the benefits of pantaloons.  I find I shy away from them only because at first sight they seem less feminine, but add a girly top and dainty details and voila!!  It's instantly all the feminine I need.
